Our Ski Program is part of the Physical Education program, promoting a healthy winter sport. Girdwood students get to go downhill skiing or snowboarding for half the school day six times throughout the winter. K-1 grade students take ski lessons, lead by the Alyeska ski school instructors. 2nd -8th graders are organized into ski groups, which are chaperoned by Girdwood teachers and parent volunteers. We all look forward to school ski days!
